| As my author board is now up and running - thank you Brian and Mark! - it seems timely to post a message saying Hello and Welcome! I'll be dropping by every few days to join in the discussions and I'll be posting a bibliography so you'll know what books to look out for and what's still available. I'll also be posting news... To start things off, I'm very pleased to say I've just finished the first draft of my latest novel, ALL ABOUT ELFLAND. Still lots of rewriting to do, but it's a big milestone. You can visit my website at fredawarrington.com. Speak soon, all the best, Freda |

| Re: Hello and Welcome It's great to see you with your own board here, Freda. I look forward to discussing more of your work with you over the coming months. I just got my copy of Court of the Midnight King today, so I will no doubt be firing some questions your way on that one in due course. I'm also looking forward to learning more about 'All about Elfland'. It does sound a fascinating concept. |

| Brian G. Turner | Re: Hello and Welcome Nice to see you around, Freda - and do keep us posted on developments with All About Elfland. We'll also see if we can drag Storm away from WoW to do a few things here - missed you at the Immanion party in June, but hopefully get a few more from there to here and get them some more exposure. |

![]() I've heard about those, aren't they scary? Hello & welcome, Freda. It's always a pleasure to welcome a new author to the boards. Tempered somewhat by the knowledge that I have more additions to my reading list to plough through. | |

| Re: Hello and Welcome Welcome Freda... ![]() That new title instantly reminds one of Dunsany but not having read any of your novels to date I'm only guessing there's a connection there. I think I saw a copy of Court Of The Midkinght Knig at my specialist SFF shop, so I might grab a copy and check it out. |

| Re: Hello and Welcome Hello Freda. Always nice to see authors here! I can pretend to mingle with the celebs this way!!! (I think authors are so much more worthy of the title than most of the people out there in celeb land) The new title interests me a lot so I look forward to hearing updates about that one! I'll look your other books up on amazon! Welcome and enjoy! Ada xx |

| Re: Hello and Welcome Yarr, believe none, they be nutters says I. Yarr a true pirate sails the sea, a maiden fair she be. Oh...oh ehehe. I mean welcome we'll enjoy your company (read suck out your knowledge then add it to our own moeahaha, one day we'll create the ultimate writer moeahaha ), hope you might enjoy our company too (maybe do some brain-sucking yourself )You know the more I try to cover up this thing and create a warm welcome the more 'chainsaw thoughts' pop up resulting in the bloody mess you're reading. (this sentence gives a whole new dept to the expression: 'bloody metaphors' doesn't it? )Anyyay, a strong ending saves the day, because poetry within prose is not astray, I won't go that way, agh well most things go wrong today anyway. Oh yes before you ask: I do have a perfectly sane personality, but I prefer the other ones. |
