Re: Predictions for the Lannisters

Hey Purlpe Kath, here's what I think -

Cersei will have her champion fight for her redemption according to the old laws of the Seven, which will of course be approved of by the new overly pious septon. And her champion - Frankenmountain!! Qyburn, though very suspicious, seems to have some preference for the Lannisters (helping Jaime with his hand, suckling up to Cersei constantly) b/c they are able to provide him with gold and supplies and people to experiment on, so I believe that he, more than anyone else, is most likely to help Cersei out of her current predicament.

Even if Jaime wanted to help it would be too late. She sent him to the other half of the continent in her arrogance, thinking he could do nothing for her, and now she pleads for him to save her. Serves her right! Women!!!! But Qyburn is right at hand (no pun intended, Jamie . . .) and he will not hesitate to test his monstrosity in action. The result will be that the Faith will be utterly appaled by the abomination and there will even greater strife between the church and the throne until the point at witch Dani lands on Dragonstone and begins her take over, sending dragons and a fleet of Free Cities' ships to plague King's Landing.

Of course, by then Euron will probably have control of one of the dragons (which I have to say, in all the discussions of who the three heads will be no one seems to bring this up?), but whether he uses it for Dani or for himself I am not sure. I have a sneaking suspcion that he is closely associated with the Great Other (sailing all the way to Valyria to claim the horn, speaking about how he has seen hundreds of gods and none of them are real, cold blue lips, mute deck crew, etc.)
