not THE coolest ever, but certainly very cool. i always liked waylander, more than any other gemmel character of that type, i think.

That was a good idea. You know who was really cool, though? Andrew, the robot from The Bicentennial Man. He had a lot going for him, but was he really human in the end? Thoughts?

I said talk about Waylander, and you kind of sidetracked there. And I think Waylander is THE coolest, I mean, in Hero in the Shadows, the ending it's so cool, and Waylander is so ******** funny and so cool in Waylander II: Realm of the Wolf

he is very cool up there with jon shannow as Gemmells coolest characters

He is a cool character, and in many respects he is the fantasy equivalent of Shannow. They have very similar approaches to life. Hero in the Shadows is my favourite Waylander book, he does kick so much arse, especially in the ending.
