| Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I didn't mind the deaths of so many heroes, but the NJO series extended itself beyond the point of any interest. The antagonists weren't nearly creative enough to read about over a period of several years. They were basically tailor made to counter the established system that we all call the force. They were generic and probably easily conceived. It may have been better as a trilogy written by one author. |

| Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Two new novels this Fall. One on Luke Skywalker (Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor) and the other entitled The Life and Legend of Obi-Wan Kenobi. This last one, I am very much looking forward to reading. See: Star Wars: Expanded Universe | Book Previews: Obi-Wan & Luke Covered Just about to read Vision of the Future. |

| Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I rather enjoyed it. It shows "political realities" of the New Republic but I mean do they really think they can keep up this charade of impersonnating Thrawn. I guess we will see the results in Vision of the Future. |

| Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I try to buy each Starwars book as it comes out, but lately have been falling behind. Last book I read was Death Star. Wasn't as good as I had hoped, but still an ok read. |
