Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I have started Spectre Of The Past now and when I read the back I was expecting Thrawn to be a clone. I don't like how he is a con artist, even though that is kinda cool. I'm not that far into it yet though.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I have fond memories of all the books, and I probably didn't enjoy the Specter of the past and Vision of the future as much because I read them years later. Don't worry about the stories, Tim is a master of plot twists ![]()

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I haven't enjoyed Spectre Of The Past as much as I did the Thrawn trilogy. I don't know why but I haven't. Maybe because there isn't as much from the Imperials.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I'm reading through the first book in the latest series (with Luke's son Ben) and I'm actually enjoying it quite a lot. There are always a galaxy's worth of troubles in the SW universe, and just because "the fate of the galaxy" doesn't rest in the balance it doesn't mean it isn't interesting (take note certain overdramatic SW authors). There are enough roles played by the classic characters to lend a certain feeling of legitimacy to the story, while at the same time there are plenty of unknown but already complex offspring to take on the adventures. Looking forward to more well written stories from the ever expanding world of Star Wars ![]()

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I just finished it like half an hour ago and I need the next book! I don't know where I can get it though, I'm going to try my library today hopefully.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? "Specter of the Past" was enjoyable, although, I agree, not so enjoyable as the Thrawn Trilogy. "Vision of the Future" is good, too. Just not as good as the Thrawn Trilogy.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? The best ones are the ones which I like the most ![]() At this particular time I'm giving special note to the legacy of the force series. Jacen's methods have captured my interest. And Luke has gone from annoying farmboy to my favourite character.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Lol... arrogant farmboy... add something to that and well done... Darth Bane one(s) are quite good. I like the Cloak of Deception and Yoda: Dark Rendezvous also...

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Yes it is bound to be. I have been told by a friend not to read any more SW books that are after Vision Of The Future. Apparently there is a lot of things in there. I looked in Amazon and I saw a secondhand copy of Hard Merchandise...70 cents US. Same with Vision Of The Future. Now I can pay for that I just can't pay for the shipping.
