Re: Um... Reader of the Books? It would be quite thick, but very possible. It all hangs on formatting, really. Just check out the "about the author" notes in the back of the book. The font should be smaller than the usual content of the book. I think those books average somewhere between 250 and 300 words a page. But larger books often print over 400 words a page. I know Robert Jordan has been guilty of this.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? First bounty hunter one is confusing but good. Haven't read the second one yet. Loving Dark Force Rising. Luke has just gone of to Jomark (he is not there yet).

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I'm reading RotS for the first time. Matthew Stover shows a lot of promise, but there are some issues that are really starting to bug me. It's real easy to immerse myself in the story, up until he announces the same character, by name, that he has been hyping up for about a page and a half. I get tired of all the: "and this is Anakin Skywalker!" or the: "And this is Count Dooku" or "Obi Wan Kenobi!" It keeps pulling me out of the reading. I just wish he would stop reminding me that I'm reading a book. It makes me want to choke the man, so he will get down to the story at hand. Yes. Timothy Zahn is still the best.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Just re-reading PM. I guess I really should get the other novelizations as well. Terry Brooks is a pretty good writer. One thing that really bugs me is the way Anakin's name is shortened to Annie all the time. This spelling looks so feminine to my eyes, as I've seen it abbreviated to Ani (pronounced the same, not necessarily the most intuitive spelling for native English speakers), which looks a lot better.
