Re: Um... Reader of the Books? given the number of X-wing series books that have changed hands over the last few years, I'm surprised they aren't releasing a collector's edition.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Just finished reading Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader. An enjoyable follow up to Episode III. I have read some of the NJO and enjoyed some of them, but the books that are based more closely on canon events and chartacters are ones that I enjoy most.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? My library said they had that book then I looked onthe shelves and it wasnt there. Then when I was looking for other books I saw someone carrying it around. How much does that suck. I am reading Mandalorian Armour (Armor as it says on the cover). The first time I started reading it and then it had to go back to the library so I have it now and will hopefully finish it before I have to go back to school.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I've found ebay pretty good for Star Wars books. Had a nightmare trying to get a copy of The Courtship of Princess Leia via amazon and my girlfriend got it from ebay for me in about a tenth of the time. Got my Clone Wars novels from ebay too. Did find a Star Wars by George Lucas novel in my local car boot for 10p. ![]()

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? To bring back a proper SW book discussion thread... I am currently reading the Thrawn Trilogy and quite enjoying the first one though there are a few things I can't work out.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I'd suggest leaving your questions until you've read all three, and then possibly the Specter of the past and Vision of the Future books too. We don't want to spoil them for you ![]() I really think Zahn gives a book a cinematic feel, great pace and interesting plot twists. I can read his books over and over again!

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? I enjoyed this book, mostly for the way you can see a lot more into Vader's mind. Not to mention his tenuous relationship with Sidious. One downside was the unnecessary involvement of Chewie. Yes we get it, he's a resistance fighter who eventually got captured as a slave. No need to always give him a minor role in every story. You'd think the guy never got any sleep.

Re: Um... Reader of the Books? Assuming that once a Clone wakes up his identity differs from the template, it's not a problem. All that stuff about midichlorins was a mistake.
