Looks darn interesting - DaFoe's boy isn't running around as the "Vulture" yet - but, almost surprisingly, the big villain of this piece is Doctor Octopus - a man who wears a set of long tentacular robot arms about his waist.

As Kirsten Dunst didn't die on the bridge like she did in the comics, it means we get an extended emotional torture of Toby Maguire in this film. IS this an element that should have been in the comic books?

I wasn't terribly impressed with the first one so I'm not too hot to see the second. I'll probably catch it at some time after it leaves the theaters.

As far as emotional torture goes - it always gives a little spice to a movie, but Mr. McGuire seems to have only one emotion - sheer despair. Of course, that's just my opinion.
