| Re: Factoids An Ottoman King though he was going mad, and the he thought the best way from going mad is to shoot a peasant everyday. thk god he was a lousy shot. but then he got better so his family replaced the gun with blanks and get one peasant to act dead everyday |

| Re: Factoids All right, you lot. How about a little more fact, and a little less toid, okay? In olden times, chaff from the fields (thresh) used to be strewn on the floor of houses, as a kind of low budget carpet and insulation. A block of wood was placed in the doorways to keep the thresh from being tracked out the door. Hence, the "thresh hold." |
