| I am not sure, i think by legends she meant either a book created for fundraising for some good cause where aknowledged writers wrote a piece in. Hobb, Martin, Rowling,... martin did the hedgeknight i think and rowling fantastic beasts and where to find them + something else Or either a book from Megan Lindgrom (?!) - Hobb is just an alias after all In wich she decribes the journey of the Elderlings i think. |

Oh I see, thanks for sharing that info =] I thought being a Robin Hobb fan I should've known. I did know she writes under another name, Megan...have you read any of her books under that name? There is this one called 'Wolf brother' which interests me (obviously reminded me of Nighteyes) but I couldn't get my hands on a copy yet. Last edited by Kitera : 6th January 2007 at 10:46 PM. | Re: Favourite character? I agree with Serin, too. The Nighteyes/Fitz partnership is one of the best things about the Farseer trilogy. From the Liveship Traders series, though, my favourite character was Paragon. |

| Re: Favourite character? It was a collection of short stories from fantasy authors called 'Legends II'. The story follows the creation of the Rain River Wilds settlement from the diary entries of one of the founders. It's quite good. |

Thanks Somebloke! Much appreciated! It's a shame they don't have it over here in Australia. | |

| Re: Favourite character? Actually, you'd probably find it readily in any of the chains, and definitely in specialist SFF bookstores. I think I bought my copy from Big W when it first came out, though it'd long be gone from their shelves. I've got the trade, but I've seen the mass-market at a lot of places. Try your library, even, they'd surely have it, or could get it on an inter-library loan. |
