| Re: The Chronicles Network Hall of Fame - Voting Thread **PLEASE READ FIRST POST** Hmmm, on a different day I could (possibly have, and probably will!) choose differently, but..... LOTR Second Chronicles of Amber (Zelazny) Sorceror's Legacy (Wurts) And Call me Conrad/This Immortal (Zelazny) Memory, Sorrow and Thorn (Tad Williams) A Darkness at Sethanon (Feist) Angel Fire East (Terry Brooks) The Prohet of Akhran (Weis/Hickman) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (C.S. Lewis) Heir of Sea and Fire (McKillip) What a wrench! Would have easily included Wurts' Wars of Light and Shadow, only it's not sold as a series (Yet!, Woe to the forest that has to become that paper!), and I found it impossible to choose between the member books. Couldn't go with more than one Weis/Hickman offering, even though there are several that are all close. Choices, Choices, Choices! Had The IllEarth War in it until the very end, Svalbard (would be 11th, at least today, though! ).Great thread, Cul, even if I am finding it well after the fact. |
