Well if they bother you that much don't read them lol Saltheart, a worryingly convincing argument for Harry's death! That sounds quite possible ![]() | |

| Re: Will Harry Die In Book 7?? I think SaltHeart that your reading into things far too much, Afterall, not everything is an answer in disguise. I also think on another level that a prophecy would be quite ambiguous to the extent of someone dying because, for instance, the prophecy made of Harry/Neville + Voldermort cannot tell us that Harry/Neville/Voldermort will die, it but tells us that ONE of them will die. We are still in the dark of what will happen. Perhaps the Prophecy on that night (when in the forbidden forest) was Harry will die or He will be saved. (Although put somewhat more eloquently) Although that did make me think SaltHeart, but im very much someone who cannot see Harry Dieing :P. |

| Re: Will Harry Die In Book 7?? As a reader I'm not a fan of endings where the hero dies (I'm just a sucker for happy endings in stories) thematically it makes sense. To borrow from an article I'm working on for my blog. Harry Potter makes heavy use of archetypes. The use of those to map out myths was pioneered by Joseph Campbell's The Hero With A Thousand Faces: Of course following Campbell's roadmap the story should end with "The Hero's Departure"... |
