| Re: Recomend me some Historical Fiction. Having just read Freda Warrington's 'Court of the Midnight King', I'd also recommend this as a historical fiction of the period you're looking for. It is also a twist on the Richard III era, though it has more of a fantasy feel than some historical fictions I've read. It reminded me a lot of Barbara Erskine's 'Lady of Hay' which is another solid recommend from a similar period. |

| Re: Recomend me some Historical Fiction. Over the years I've grown to appreciate History more and I like reading historical non-fiction and fiction. Some titles that I've really enjoyed are: -Scottish Chiefs by Jane Porter (about William Wallace and Robert Bruce) -Sword of the Rightful King by Jane Yolen (about King Arthur) -Girl in a Cage by Jane Yolen and Robert Harris (Robert Bruce's daughter) -Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott (Despite the fact I didn't like this you might, because it's medieval.) I have yet to read any of her books, but everyone tells me her books are great (and I can't wait to go pick mine up), Rosemary Sutcliff. From what I can tell about her books, all of them are historical fiction. Well I hope that was a little helpful!!! have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
