I mostly read in bed or on the couch, if my bf is watching something I'm not all that engrossed in. No kids as yet, so no distractions that way.
If your eyes hurt when you read from a screen, you should go to the opthalmologist. Plenty of people who manage to read from paper without glasses and don't need glasses for driving etc. can benefit from special computer glasses. Even if you're so vain you prefer to wear contacts (the idea of putting anything in my eyes grosses me out, I'd never do it) when out and about, it might be worth it getting some glasses for computer work, because people blink less when they look at a screen than they do otherwise, and contacts can irritate more than they normally would. |
