I think the idea of his descent into being some sort of dark lord in the fantasy world mirroring his addiction in the real world is a really nice one. Or perhaps even in reverse. Should he feel guilty enough, underneath the addiction, perhaps the fantasy world is a drug-induced wish fulfillment? |
