If you're referring to the Ultimates series... yes, the Jackson version of Fury has been around for awhile. Certainly different from the original character's World War II roots, but then, I always had a hard time accepting the WWII Sarge as head of SHIELD anyway. Besides, if he was still that character, he'd probably be in a wheelchair now... or he could use his own movie to explain why he's still so strong and vital after all these years!

Myself, I'm okay with it.
