The first time I read DHG I found it difficult, but I loved every minute, Now just finished rereading it and was astounded by how much I'd missed first time around, or how much more is there once you've read the rest of the series.
Last month I reread GOTM and that was a useful excercise and enjoyable too but nothing close to this I am in total awe and DHG is my way ahead favourite again, Ive even started accidentally swearing at the kids in Malazan. ( Its actually quite fun - Hood's breath - Try it today

I usually I find a second read deadens some of the emotional stuff but not with this book I'm blown away, Im going to try to fit in MOI and HOC again before ToTH hits paperback.
