Well, it's good that you have such a high opinion of your work ... but I suppose it can also be a bit of a double-edged sword. Personally, by the time I get to draft 3 or 4, everything seems to be a bit stale ... (but then, I'm definitely more of a
Glass Half-Empty kind of person ...)

After working on something, and then rewriting it, and then rewriting it
again, my work certainly doesn't seem to
sparkle. As such, I tend to leave a fair bit of time between each draft, and move on to a few shorter projects; radio scripts, short stories, etc ... I find it does me the world of good to forget about the piece, and then come back to it with fresh eyes. By that point, I'm more positive about the thing as a whole ... not to mention noticing the glaring errors, which stick out a mile!
