| Re: what makes DW so good? The way that it keeps on changing and adapting to the times (and yet maintaining some continuity with its past) so that it never grows stale. And if you don't like one Doctor, you can some back to the series a few years later, and find out if you like the next one better.
The decision to give the Doctor multiple regenerations, each one with a new face and new personality (the change from the first Doctor to the second was simply presented as a kind of rejuvenation, but that obviously wasn't going to work between Troughton and Pertwee), turned out to be a stroke of genius. |
