Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

I guess we'll just have to wait for the official ones to be released.

I can't wait for the transformation!!!

Anikan into Darth Vader......seems dark yet cool!!

I have a hunch that the visual effects will be interesting and very surprizing!!

I enjoyed the first two and hope the third will be just as great or even better!!

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

Hello to you, Orion,

Interesting....at least I seem not to be alone in not despising Episode I here...

...I was beginning to fear to be an outright freak and/or outcast,

hehe,

see you in space,

Admiral Meltan Hralgo.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

Episode I and II were rubbish and destroyed a lot of the mysticism that made the Star Wars universe so interesting. I might be morbid, but there are only two real reasons for me seeing EpIII: Natalie Portman, and Anakin falling into lava.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

Even before Episode 1 I argued to friends that Ep 3 would be the best. After all, the moment we see Darth Vader on the screen again is the moment that we are watching Star Wars again. There is no Star Wars without good ol' Darth.

And, hey, Adm. - you're not an outcast! We're just waiting for 3!

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

Still I think people are being too 'fundamentalistic' about Ep I

(Ep II is a great movie),

as I said in my other post the only moment where one could make a sensible statement about Ep I will be when one can watch it along with the II and III
and not how they all will (eventually) flow one into another in a gradually descending and darkening spiral.

That's how I see it...

Admiral Meltan Hralgo.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

What do you actually think will be in episode III, Hralg? And have you seen the wondeful lego trailer of it?

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

I personally think it will be a very 'fractured' movie...much like some kind of war reportage with news coming from all fronts...it has to show the chaos encroaching the galaxy and submerging the republic...the main 'good' charachters will try desperately to hold things together but will ultimately fail.

Dooku has still to be dispatched with and I think that will be a good way to show Anakin giving in to hate and rage to find the 'tainted strenght' to defeat him....thus fulfilling Palpatine's expectations.

Dooku could kidnap the pregnant Amidala, thus Anakin would be forced to rush to rescue her (perhaps leaving Obi Wan stuck in some quagmire) and she may give birth in the aftermath of that (possible) confrontation...but Anakin must see just Luke, and not Leia.

Then...then...well Mace Windu 'must' die and I hope he goes away with a blast....perhaps he may discover Sidious is Palpatine but he cannot have the chance to tell that to anybody.

Then....we'll see THE DUEL we are all waiting for....and a final 10-15 mins of movie with DARTH VADER in his definitive incarnation.

I heard there will be some kind of Sith 'christening'....that should be the focal point of the movie.

And oh, yes, the children must be separated and all and C3PO must have his memory erased...R2 could too but it's not a must.

See you in space,

Admiral Meltan Hralgo.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

Sounds interesting - and I quite agree.

I just hope it can be pulled off. So long as we see Darth properly...

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

After reading the script, I can tell you that all of the Jedi Masters (apart from a choice few, obviously) go out with quite a bang.

Ah, it's a pity I can't remember anything of it- it has been a while since I read it.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

I am glad that my 'force foretelling' sounds reasonable to you...

...however I'd like to warn Hype aganist the so-called 'scripts' that are currently circulating about Ep III...since for the most part they are little more than hoaxes put around for the fun of it or even part of a plan well orchestrated by The Man Lucas himself as a smokescreen (hehe...remember how lots of people actually BELIEVED they'd get to see a cloned/resuscitated Darth Maul in Ep. II??).

Of course if you got that from a Bothan spy that inflitrated Lucas' own vault and braved the horrors put to watch it (Gamorreans Kamikazes - Crimson Guards honor platoon and the George's pet Rancor)...then what you read 'could' actually have been 'The Thing'...

...you can never tell in a glaxy such wide and varied,

see you in space,

Admiral Meltan Hralgo.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

I wonder if Anankin shifts to the Dark Side because he's tired of boring people constantly telling him to 'use the force' and 'heed the force' and 'yada-yada the force' all the time.
Just my view.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

There's still a lot to happen between the events of the last episode and the creation of Darth Vader. I can only imagine that ep III takes place quite some time after ep II.

Re: Star Wars III: Fall of the Jedi

I keep wondering if we'll see lots of Wookies in this one - sort of like Lucas lifting his repression from not being able to pull them off for Return of the Jedi.
