Ok, thank you sir. I won't make a habit of posting "pinup" pics, art featuring them, or using them as avatars all the time, but since I noticed a thread in the art forum, about Luis Royo's pin up fantasy art (and he loves the "sexy" fantasy themed women in his paintings), I figured I'd better ask permission for what the limits are. I love that kind of art, along with old fashioned pin up art. I love some of the current, modern pinup artists out there today too, but some of their stuff, would be way too graphic for this board obviously. I'll keep things appropriate. Thanks! | |

| Where words prevail not.. | Re: Terms of Use There's a limit on when you can make new threads? I didn't know that...are you sure? Otherwise how do new people make threads in introductions and the like? I thought there was only a fifteen post rule for anyone wanting to post a link. |

| Re: Terms of Use Yeah, must be the link thing, now that I think of it. Anyway it doesn't really matter 15 posts is a nice number anyway. It might be because I've been here so long that I grow annoyed with people creating the same threads all over again. It's amazing how you can find almost anything with the search tool. |

| Ink-stained Wretch | Re: Terms of Use There is no limit on how many new threads you can start, but scalem is right that so many new threads by new members are just duplicates of existing threads. And for that reason the conversations don't get very far, because the topics are pretty much discussed out (and in some cases the original thread didn't go very far, either). So, it really is a good idea to stick around for a while and get the lay of the land before starting a great many new threads. |

| Re: Terms of Use Brian, while I completely agree with the rules and applaud your advocacy of them, I have to know- what are flame wars?! Here in America, we would probably just chalk that up to a drunken redkneck barbeque. |

| Ink-stained Wretch | Re: Terms of Use I'm not Brian, but he's rather busy. Flame wars are online arguments that get utterly out of hand, escalating into insults and sometimes worse. They're likely to become particularly nasty because the participants generally enjoy a degree of anonymity not present in real life -- and run no risk of an immediate wallop to the side of the head. |

| Re: Terms of Use Take a look at the. 'Critiques,' section. There's a list of guidelines. Once you make sure you've conformed to them, just start a new thread, (there's a button) and either write your submission or copy and paste it. |

| Re: Terms of Use Its good to see texting is prohibited. That's what IM's are for. I've seen too many forums get all clogged up with threads of nothing but texting......annoying! My wife and her friends have a poplular one (am I allowed to mention the name here?) backed up with so many texts, its nearly impossible to find a real thread! |
