but there are, according to Melisandre, and Thoros to some respect, only two true dieties. R'hllor and The Other. The Other is the Ice, R'hllor, the Fire. Shadow really is a child of Light/Fire... Ice and Shadow have no correllation.
I believe that Melisandre is indeed a Priestess of R'hllor, or at least a Sorceress in his service, and that although their functions are different and their methods, Thoros and she are working towards similar goals. |
