I'm still none too sure about how this would be supported by the novel (if you could give some citations from the text that seem to lean in that direction, it might make it a bit easier to discuss and refine this interpretation, for example) but I must admit that this is a very different take on the shoggoth and what it may represent. I'll be interested in seeing where you take it from here.... |
