I would like to go as well, Scallywag! Unfortunately, it will take more than some chocolate and beer to get me there...

Oh well it's nice to dream

Re: Fantasycon 2006 - UK

Me, me, me!! from the first day, but I'm not sure what time. (trains )
Anyway, I'll probably be wearing a red 'quicksilver' bag and will be having a horrible accent. Is that enough. If you can't find me, ask for the crazy Belgian, that should do the trick.

Re: Fantasycon 2006 - UK

Oh gosh that was great! (Not that I'm biased!) But despite being a headless chicken all weekend, thought it went rather well... Far too knackered to come up with anything too coherent to say about it...

All feedback (both positive and negative) will be most welcome... and thanks to everyone that could make it - you made the event!!

Re: Fantasycon 2006 - UK

Hey, nice to see you on board, Jen.

Really enjoyed it myself - my big aim was to have a few words with Neil Gaiman which I managed which was nice, and had some good discussions with Raymond E Fiest - will probably have to read some of his later wrok now.

Overall, these cons seem to be getting better.

Also, nice to see ScalemX there (and sorry if I didn't always seem very sociable - always running around trying to say hello to different people!).

Anyone else from chronicles go?

Re: Fantasycon 2006 - UK

That was the best F/Con I have been to in a few years,I like R.Fiest but for me N.Gaimen was the best, good Indian resturants and pubs on the doorstep if you wanted to pop outside for a bit of air.

I will quite happy to go back to Nottingham next year just hope that half as many new people come back and enjoy it again.

Re: Fantasycon 2006 - UK

yeah it was great. Totally worth the problems I'm now in because I missed university days and need to fill in stuff others have had the info on .

Some things made me wonder though: what about Chronicles T-shirts. They would come in very handy for a con.
