For what it is worth, in the Shadow Rising Lanfear comes to Rand right before the trplloc attack in the Stone (chapt 9, Decisions). In the conversation they have, she tells Rand
" Asmodean will teach you to wield the power without it killing you, teach what you can do with it. Let me help you. We can destroy the others. The Great Lord will not care. We can destroy all of them, even Asmodean, once he has taught you all you need to know."
She says a little more but that is the important part. I think that is a little to close to what happened to be a coincedence. |
