I believe it was Wayne Industries (basically Bruce's inheritance) which was getting sold for lack of running capital. If the will had that amount of liquid assets going the reappearance of Bruce would have immediately negated the need for a sale. And I doubt Thomas Wayne in the will put out more money for his butler than for his son. |
