Ahhh! Too much python!

Oh well -

I cut down trees, I skip and jump, I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing, and hang around in bars.

René Descartes was a boozy old f***
"I drink therefore I am"?

You'd nailed him to the perch.

Re: The Random Thoughts Thread

Chris, I don't believe you started in the middle.

"Immanuel Kant was a real p***ant
Who was very rarely stable;
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could drink you under the table;
David Hume could outconsume
Muller *or, in some versions, Schopenhauer* and prob'ly Hegel
And Wittgenstein was a real beerswine
Who was just as schlossed as Schlegel.

"There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raising of the wrist,
Socrates himself was permanently p****ed...."

I'll let you guys take it from there.....

Re: The Random Thoughts Thread

The Main theme of Final Fantasy VII gives me the chills much like Jurassic Park music does. Could it be the crash cymbals?
--------
Playing crash cymbals in a parade makes your arms tired, just a heads up.

Doesn't the word "Final" mean you like final. How can it be final for the seventh time? Just an observation.
.................................................. ............Actually more like a retorical question.

Re: The Random Thoughts Thread

Because it's a fluid sort of space time situation and final is not final until it's finally final

Or as Fritz Leiber said: "As Gertie Stein would say, you can't time travel in the time you travel in when you time travel."

Thirty some years ago I remember reading "to move you must move in one of two places.: where you are or where you aren't. Well, you can't move where you are because then you haven't moved. But also you can't move where you aren't because you aren't there. Therefore motion is absurd." I wish I could remember who said that.
