German heritage, though it's not really confined to that. Kind of a Polish-German thing, I think.....recent lookings kind of make that distinction hazy.


There's also apparently other European heritage, such as english and even looks like a bit of Scottish........mind you, this is just my mother's side.

There is a negative context, true, but that was spread by the Nazis. The term "aryan" was actually around long before that......

The "master race" thing was spread by the Nazis. The term "Aryan" has been around for over a hundred years. Look it up on Wiki, people!!!!

Not much "blond and blue-eyed" in the original of "Aryan" – they were the hill tribes that took over Persia back before Darius and that lot, hence the modern "Iran" Mind you, they could have given the Nazis lessons on "Ubermann" philosophy (if they hadn't tried to exterminate them as an inferior species).

I can't even learn French in school, good thing I was allowed to give it up...I may have gone insane...although I can speak a bit of Welsh, mainly "Dew" and "Pisho bant"

I was bad enough at French at school that I was looking for a university I could get into without a foreign language. Funny how living here has changed things.
