Woo Hoo! Latest FIFA rankings put Australia at 28th, that's our highest ever ranking. It'll be a long time before we're right up there with the best of them but I think 20-30ish is a realistic goal for where we should be trying to stay. Moving to the Asian confederation was the best move ever for soccer/football in Australia, better opposition more often has to be a good thing

Dull, dull, dull. Still, we take the Tigers back to St James's, and we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I'll be watching my hometown team play Blackburn on Monday. Not that I expect much, but... oh, heck. Come on, Spartans!
