Re: New Series

No Kye, K-9 isn't a permanent fixture but it was good to meet him (I've not watched any of the classic episodes so don't remember him or know him from old).

Yes Carlotta, they are sometimes similar but the doctor is nerdy whereas Casanova was anything but!!!

Re: New Series

You know I heard someone say they were going to be doing a kids programme with K-9 but I couldn't be 100% sure about it.

Re: New Series

Could you be referring to the spin-off programme that was made after K-9 and Sarah left Doctor Who???

If so, it only lasted for one episode (I think) and I, personally, don't know of any rumours that it's starting up again.

Re: New Series

Ahhh perhaps the person who told me, misunderstood.

I think it was along the lines of - I said they were going to kill K-9 and he said they were making a spin off....

So he has possibly read or been told about the original spin off and got the wrong end of the stick

Re: New Series

Just watched the episode repeat on bbc3 as I missed it yesterday. That was truly gripping, easily the best written, most powerful episode of the series so far. Tennant is just a living legend.
