| Re: New Series Yes! Excellent episode that. Far superior to last week's effort/ There are also some interesting ditties in there too, such as the implication that Torchwood is mixed up with "Bad Wolf" which was never properly explained in season 1. Great stuff. |

| Re: New Series Oh, how great was last nights episode? Completely great! When I was watching the trailer I thought the evil Shaolin (style) monks and the werewolf, and Queen Victoria, thrown in for good measure, looked fabulous but overambitious. Colour me proven wrong. This episode was satisfying. |

| Re: New Series Incase no one noticed TORCHWOOD is an anagram of DOCTOR WHO. They're making the spin off series Torchwood with John Barrowman. It will be on BBC Three between the series of Dr.Who. Sounds X-files-like, all alien tech and stuff. Very good way to keep the Doctor Who idea on TV whilst the next series is being made. PERCON |

It mightn't have lived up to the Werewolf episode but I still enjoyed every minute of it! xx | |

| Re: New Series Personally, I thought the latest episode was on par with the werewolf one. Mainly because, as a child, I used to watch the old series on video so seeing K9 again was great ![]() I still call the old series the 'original episodes' since I've not quite got used to having 45 minute long episodes that begin and end a story rather than having six 30 minute episodes. Looking forward to seeing the Cybermen again! I know my dad isn't ![]() PERCON |

| Re: New Series Hurrah! Dr. Who! Was tonight's episode inspired by 'The Time Traveller's Wife' do you think, or is this a theme that appears in other films/books as well? Tennant is shaping up to be a fine Dr. Who. He does the chummy and wacky thing very well. But I'm not sure that Eccleston wouldn't have pulled this one off even better? Perhaps I'm experiencing Eccleston-withdrawal. Or pehaps I'm innappropriately tickled by the recent episodes -with ages-old sorrow and loneliness and grief being portayed by someone three years old. It's ageist, I know. |

| Re: New Series I really enjoyed last night's episode and I'm completely biased towards David Tennant and think he makes a marvellous Doctor just as he made Casanova completely believeable and - in my opinion - lusted after, just as he should be! Anyways, I thought it was a very good episode and I liked the little twist at the end with the name of the ship, I wouldn't have noticed that atall if it hadn't have been for my partner pointing it out to me! xx (GrownUp, my mum keeps going on at me to read Time Traveller's Wife - is it really that good??)
