The beginning of the film (the prison bit) did have some bad directing and some terrible editing (didnt actually see the brawl fight)

But it picked up from then.

If you're going to have the supervillian in the film as the scarecrow then what other type of plot would be more appropriate? I thought the casting of Cilian Murphy as the scarecrow was perfect, he played dr. crane in the eerie manner required. and the mask of the scarecrow was FINALLY scarey enough (which its not in the comics or the animated series).

With alfred, why do we have to conform to what a 'typical' butler is? I thought that Caine would annoy me being a cockney chappy butler, but it worked! and i think thats the most important thing.

I think the film was fantastic. Apart from the opening 5-10minutes i loved every moment of it, and will see it again in the cinema. I'd definatly say its one of the THE movies of the year.
