I made up this joke, but not everyone seems to get it. I'll try it on you...

“Good morning, Mister Dillwood!” said Fred the Fruiterer cheerfully. “How have you been, sir?”
“Not too great,” Mister Dillwood answered. “My wife is cheating on me.”
“Dear Odin!” Fred yelled and shook his head.
“With the doctor…” Mister Dillwood added and fought back the tears. “Every night when I’m gone the doctor has sex in my house, in my bedroom, in my bed. In my wife!”
“Well… good you came to me then,” Fred said and filled a sack with big apples. “These are on the house, my old friend.”

We're all going to be sorry, but this is the joke I made up (right before abandoning my dreams of stand-up fame)

What did World War II German pilots eat for breakfast?

Luftwaffles.

I think that's funny! But you shouldn't base a career in stand-up on it. Unless you're working the VFW circuit. And you're seven years old.

Actually, my stand-up comment was aimed at Paige's "Luftwaffles" joke. Your joke was pretty good though-especially since it's so hard to come up with any new jokes in the "classic" joke format.
