Dragon Eternity, a browser-based MMORPG from Q1 Online, has now moved from closed beta to public testing.
So now anyone can head over to the website and sign up to play. Being browser-based, the game doesn’t require any installation, and it’s free-to-play.
Dragon Eternity puts a firm focus on PvP or player versus player action, with folks going head to head in battles set in the Arena of Honour, or partaking of vast team warfare on the battlefield at the Seven Bridges of Shadan.
Tournaments are held daily in the arena, with exclusive equipment and reputation awards given out to the winners.
Battles against AI controlled epic mobs are also in here, and players can form clans to take on the world.
Character classes include the paladin, berserker and “witcher” (sounds strangely familiar) and players can eventually summon up a dragon to fight by their side.
Despite running in a web browser, the developer is promising “luscious spell effects” and “crisp battle sequences”.
Q1 Online boasts that: “Smooth loading times assure you that when other players claim to suffer defeat due to lag, you’ll know it was really because of your superior skill and tactics.”
“Building winning strategies upon attack stances, spells and hundreds of power-up items ensures campaigns will never turn into grinds. Powerful equipment sets give you an edge in combat that can mean the difference between victory and defeat.”
