A high-definition launch trailer has been pushed out for the upcoming game, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

Gametrailers is hosting the exclusive version of the trailer for the remastered version of the classic shooter which is due out in two weeks time. Take a peek at it here.

It’s a minute and a half long and looks rather tasty in terms of the visuals, not to mention all very nostalgic, of course.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Halo series, and earlier this month developer 343 Industries revealed a number of interesting snippets of news concerning the game at the New York Comic-Con.

The first piece of which was that the classic map High Noon (or Hang ‘Em High) is to return in Combat Evolved Anniversary, as part of seven fan favourite maps which are due to be showcased.

High Noon’s canyons and catwalks have apparently been recreated with “unprecedented detail”, and this map is best suited for 4 to 12 players in slayer and objective modes.

The other big piece of news was the details of the Kinect functionality which is being integrated into the game, as the usage of the motion controller spreads to core games such as this and Forza 4.

Kinect will allow players to deliver voice commands to reload their weapon, hurl a grenade and other actions, all without any button pressing needed.

An “analyse mode” has also been introduced which allows players to “scan” items of interest within the campaign. These are then stored in the library, which contains details of all these objects, secrets to unlock and so forth.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is due out on November 15th.
