Baen Books release Ghost Ship

Baen Books have just released Ghost Ship in hardcover, the fourth book in the award-winning Liaden Universe series by Sharon Lee and Steve Miller.

The novel can be purchased in traditional print form as well as ebook and is sure to be a winner with fans, over a quarter of a million books in the series have been sold so far. The latest offering appeals to a wide audience – set in an unspecified time period, the novels are epic, covering thousands of years.

The new novel tells the story of Theo Waitley, an ace starship pilot and maverick. Although she survives best-of-the-best training at the academy, she soon finds a blast from the past makes her life even more complicated.

Theo is about to embark on her destiny as one of the best pilots in the galaxy and leader of the powerful Liaden clan. Unfortunately, she finds that she has lots of enemies who don’t really want her to embrace that destiny – in fact, they would rather see her dead.

Sharon Lee and Steve Miller are a husband and wife writing team. Together, they’ve published eighteen novels of science fiction and fantasy, and more than three dozen shorter works, garnering a number of awards as well as invitations as Guests of Honor and Special Guests at science fiction conventions from coast to coast in the U.S. and Canada.

    There were glorious parts of the 80s? Only kidding, I remember certain good bits – yes the covers do have a certain reminiscent quality to them don’t they.
