Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom is out on shelves in the UK this Friday November 26th.

The game is the story of a swift and agile thief, Tepeu, who is accompanied by the Majin, a towering AI controlled beast who provides the brawn for this co-operative action adventure.

Containing puzzles aplenty, the basic idea is that Tepeu faces enemies he can’t hope to beat, so he has to lure them towards the big beastie who can squash them in various different ways. Teamwork is absolutely key to survival.

Publisher Namco Bandai describes Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom as an “accessible experience that offers the perfect mix of stealth, action, platform navigation and combat.”

The Majin is vulnerable from the rear, so Tepeu has to keep a careful watch on the back of his brute ally. Indeed, he has to keep out of the way of its swings, too, as the Majin can (accidentally) harm the thief.

The game will be available on both the Xbox 360 and PS3, and retails at £44.99, although as ever you should be able to get it a fair bit cheaper than that.

It will apparently be mainly stocked at HMV and Game, but limited quantities will be available elsewhere, such as Amazon and Play.
