Second series of V to be cut down to 10 episodes
If you enjoyed V as much as we did earlier in the year, then there’s some not so great news about the sci-fi series coming down the grapevine.
The saga of the lizard aliens and John May resistance is currently filming the second series, which will air at the start of next year in the US (and hopefully not too long afterwards over here).
But the bad news is while a 13 episode run was planned, that may have been cut down to 10 episodes, according to a report in Deadline. Apparently, the spring season première of Dancing is “expected to include 2 pre-emptions, leading to V’s order getting trimmed.” Dancing? Argh…
Anyway, Deadline reckons the producers will jiggle around with the storyline to give the second series a proper season ending. We guess the good news is at least ABC hasn’t cancelled V, not yet, anyway. It sure doesn’t seem to be treating it with much priority though, which is a shame as we felt it was one of the best shows on TV this year.
