The BBC has revealed details regarding its third Doctor Who adventure game, which is simply called TARDIS.
As you can probably guess, it centres around the famous blue police box, which is far bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, and travels with its own funky tune and materialises to the noise of what is apparently its brakes straining.
In the game, you’ll be able to explore the mysterious innards of the TARDIS, as well as piloting the time machine. Apparently the TARDIS gets stuck in a riptide, with the Doc sucked into space, and it’s down to Amy to come to the rescue (as ever), facing two brand new monsters.
Steven Moffat, Executive Producer, commented: “Since 1963, kids have wondered what it would be like to control the TARDIS. Now we’re handing complete control of the most powerful ship in all of space and time to a generation of children. Everybody duck!”
TARDIS, as we all know, stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. And not Two ‘Alfwits Roaming Desperately In Space (that’s the clean version, too).
The first two instalments of the Doctor Who adventures have apparently been downloaded over 1.3 million times in the UK. Like those games, this one will be available free of charge. A release date hasn’t yet been confirmed, but we’ll let you know as soon as we get wind of it.
