Kalyspo Media has unveiled a new simulation-strategy title for the PC, which casts the player in the role of a dungeon lord, in control of creating a fiendish underground labyrinth laden with treasure to lure in and trap computer controlled heroes.

Sounds a bit like Bullfrog’s old classic Dungeon Keeper, you might be thinking, but you’d be wrong. In fact, it sounds exactly like Bullfrog’s old classic Dungeon Keeper. Still, the old dungeon master scenario is always a tempting one.

And Kalypso is putting a bit of a spin on it, as you have to look after the adventurers once they’re trapped.

Don’t worry, it’s all for nefarious purposes in the end, however, as the happier a hero, the more soul energy you can extract from him or her when it comes to the “harvest” (dark chuckle emanates from the shadows).

Dungeons will feature ten different types of hero, fifteen monsters, and twenty missions in the campaign. Plentiful goblin minions who you can mistreat are also promised.

The game should be out come the first quarter of 2011.
