Orlando Bloom and James Corden will be in 3D Musketeers
A couple of new actors have signed up to a fresh adaptation of the famous Three Musketeers tale, which is due to begin filming in the summer.
With Paul W. S. Anderson co-writing and directing, the film will follow the 3D trend, and go for an all-action and adventure take.
Heat Vision blog reports that Orlando Bloom has just joined the cast, and will play the Duke of Buckingham, the bad guy of the piece.
Comedy bloke James Corden (the larger half of Horne & Corden), who seems to be getting everywhere these days – such as Lesbian Vampire Killers – has also signed up to play the servant Planchet.
These names join an already weighty crowd, with the likes of Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson), Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans) and Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil).
It sounds like they’re throwing plenty of money at the film, but will it be any good? At least James Corden’s bound to provide some good comedy value, anyway.
We’ll have to wait until release to find out – and that’s currently slated for the middle of 2011.
