With the BBC cutting budgets almost everywhere within the organisation there are fears that some of the more popular yet very expensive shows may be under threat.
One such show is Doctor Who, but according to the man that runs the show, Steven Moffat, the current financial crisis has meant that the production team has had to become very creative when it comes to spending the BBC’s cash.
He went on to say, that no matter how much money they had to produce the series, it would never be enough.
When the latest series was in the early development stages, cost was not a factor the team created the stories and it was up to the production team to find ways of getting the job done. How well they did this will become apparent when the series returns on the 3rd April.
