The end of Harry Potters School, Hogwarts has been virtually destroyed in a fire during the filming of the latest addition to the long running series Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows.
It seems that the accident happened during the filming of an explosion scene, which clearly went wrong forcing the crew and cast to abandon the studio in double quick time.
The location of Hogwarts Castle is in fact in the Leavesden film studios close to Watford, Hertfordshire.
Six fire crews were sent out to tackle the blaze, but by the time they got it under control it was too late for the castle the damage has been estimated at around £100,000 although that is nothing when compared to the delay in filming etc, that is where the real cost of this accident will be noticed.
