With Star Trek Online already launched in the US, the firms behind the game Cryptic Studios and Atari are turning their attention to the rest of the world with London being the target this weekend.
The distributor of the game, Namco Bandai and Atari will be in London not only to promote the game that features the voices of both Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto, but to break a world record.
On Sunday the 14th February, an attempt will be made to break the Guinness World Record for the largest amount of people dressed as Star Trek characters in one place.
The place will be the Millennium Bridge across the Thames at 1300 hrs and for all of those taking part there is the chance to win lifetime subscriptions to Star Trek Online and copies of Star Trek XI.
