It is probably one of the worst kept secrets in science fiction film history, but finally news is coming out from the JJ Abrams camp that Captain Kirk or how he is also known as, William Shatner, will be appearing in Star Trek 2.

The director has made it no secret that he wanted William Shatner on board for the next film and one thing that highlighted the interest of both parties, was when Kirk or Shatner, picked up the award for Star Trek at the Scream 2009 awards.

There could never have been a bigger indication that things are rolling, in fact, it seems that JJ is planning to meet with Bill to discuss how things can progress.

Of course, it is one thing talking about it and another actually putting it into practice. If the part is right then yes it could happen.

With all due respect…do you guys proofread before posting articles? The story is littered with grammatical and punctuational problems–even though it’s only four paragraph long. Very unprofessional

What character is he going to be playing?
If he’s going to be old Kirk come back from the future, I’m giving up on the whole franchise now.
    1. They’ve already done it with Spock. It was a good way to kickstart an alternate timeline, but doing the same thing again will ruin it.
    2. Kirk died in Generations. As far as I’m concerned, ALL timelines’ Kirks died at that point.
