It is quite amazing how the Sarah Jane Adventures has developed over the last three seasons, what started off as kids spin off from the hit science fiction show Dr Who, has really carved a niche market for itself as an independent show.
With the third series just finished, the stats have been analysed and the final episode came away with a massive 790000 viewers, for children’s show that is very good and has probably secured the production of a four series.
The concept is clever in the way that the show uses characters from the Dr Who series and therefore obviously the costs are going to be lower. Yet the show is far removed from Dr Who with children playing the main characters.
