Wes Anderson wants to film in space
Sometimes film directors have the urge to push the limits; this is nothing new of course because we have seen this in art and other forms of media.
However, the filmmaker that brought us The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, The Royal Tenenbaums and most recently the animation of Roald Dahl’s, Fantastic Mr Fox, Wes Anderson, intends to film where no director has filmed before.
According to an interview with the industry magazine, Access Hollywood, the director mentioned that he would love to go into space and make a movie; naturally, the studios may have something to say about that, as the current price tag is around $35 million per person.
It is a good concept though, but practical it certainly is not although who said filmmaking had to be practical.
