It seems that we are in a time of reworking, we have seen this in film, TV and even books, now it seems following extended negotiations the estate of the late Isaac Asimov have agreed to allow the character of Dr Susan Calvin to be reborn.

The estate have authorised sequels of the iRobot books, made famous by the film of the same title.

The new books are to be written by Mickey Zucker Reichert. the first of which will be Robots and Chaos, which will follow life in a world shared with robots.

We have an image of the future through the iRobot film, but Asimov was more intense than that with more than five hundred books under his belt there is plenty of material to follow up on.
