Could it true that the BBC are likely to drop one of the most successful science fiction shows around, according to rumours it seems that as the BBC looks to tighten its belt, paying out for foreign drama including science fiction is to be cut.

There are estimates that the BBC’s budget for overseas programming it to be cut from the current £100 million down to a figure that is to be determined at a later date.

However, with budget cuts, it means that the BBC simply cannot spend a huge chunk of what is left on any single programme. This will clearly affect shoes such as heroes, which funnily enough was initially turned down by Sky TV, maybe they already making plans to swoop in and take this one off the BBC’s hands.
