A collection of science fiction memorabilia worth an estimated £1 million is being put up for sale, the collection is currently owned by sci-fi film fan Luke Kaye, who happens to be the owner of Skywalkers Fancy Dress shop in Swindon.

For twenty six years, the collection has been building. It includes an original 1980’s KITT car from the Knightrider series, two outfits worn by Mark Hamill in the first two Star Wars films, a full size working model of Jabba the Hut, an R2D2 robot, an original lightsabre from The Empire Strikes Back as well as autographs and items from The Matrix and Battlestar Galactica.

In order to store all of this memorabilia it is having to be stored in units and the cost is outweighing the satisfaction, which is why the collection must go.
